Hi, I’m Jeff Robinson – a Java Portal development geek.  If you are looking for sample code and articles to help you get started with Liferay Portal development, then you have come to the right place.  I put together this site to help other developers with learning and doing portal/portlet applications. So, you’ll find free open-source software, articles, and helpful tips in the blog entries that will make your developiment efforts easier.

Currently, the software is targeted for Liferay, the popular open-source CMS portal that  provides over 60 free portlets and a selection of innovative technologies to enable you to create rich content websites and manage documents for your enterprise.  Liferay is currently offered in a standard edition which is free and open-source.  (An enterprise edition is also available for a fee.) Later, I plan to add support for other portals.
